Directions for use
As a bath oil: add a teaspoon of oil to warm bath water each time you bathe your baby. Take care to wash the bath thoroughly after use as the oils can make surfaces slippery.
As a baby massage oil: pour a small amount in the palm of the hand to warm the oil and gently smooth onto skin, after laying baby on a clean dry towel to protect surfaces.
For baby cleaning: use on damp cotton wool to clean nappy areas, under arms and in the folds of skin under chin and thighs.
As a scalp oil for cradle cap: the oil can be applied directly to the scalp, left overnight (use a towel to cover sheets as the oil can stain) and washed out with warm water or our super-mild Purepotions’ Natural Hair & Body Wash (coming soon) the next morning.
As a facial cleansing oil for adults: pour a small amount into the palm of your hand and massage well into your face. Leave for a minute or two and then remove excess with a warm flannel or with cotton wool.
If you need an oil without even the gentle essential oils we use in this formula, try our pure and simple Omega-Rich Cleansing Oil instead.
As this product is made from oil, please be careful when you’re out in the sunshine! We’d advise that you don’t apply oil to exposed areas such as the face before going out in strong, hot sunlight as it can burn. Instead, use the oil last thing at night.
Patch test first!
We recommend customers patch test before use (leave for 24 hours) as some people may be allergic to herbs, oils or beeswax.See our Patch Test page for more information.
