How to use
Use freshly-washed fingers or a spoon/spatula to scoop out the balm and apply to clean skin.
Skin Salvation is suitable for us on any part of the body, including the face, eyes, and nappy area, and can be applied as thickly and as often as needed.
Skin Salvation can be used in conjunction with prescribed emollients and medicated creams; just leave half an hour after use before applying other products.
If your skin is really dry and in need of intensive hydration, apply a thick layer of balm before bed and leave it on overnight. We’d advise wearing old pyjamas or using old sheets rather than your best linen as the oils in the balm can stain fabric over time.
You can also use Skin Salvation in an overnight wet or dry wrap treatment: apply last thing at night under a layer of soft fabric (gloves, socks, sleepsuits or wraps) to boost the moisturising effect.
As the balm is oil-based and doesn’t contain an SPF, please be aware that you shouldn’t apply the balm to exposed areas such as the face or lips before going out in strong sunlight, because of the risk of burning. Instead, use the balm last thing at night.
In a cold environment the balm can sometimes be quite firm; this is perfectly normal and is a characteristic of natural beeswax. Warm up a small amount in clean fingers before use to make it easier to smooth on.

Amazing product does what it says on the tin
My son had dry skin and eczema behind his knees, elbows and neck area. All very common areas! So I thought the creams given by the GP would be fine as this is common in lots of children. However, there was no change to his skin and he would stitch itch and get irritated easily. My wife saw this product being used by another mother on Instagram so we gave it a go and it has been brilliant! It stopped his itching and his skin is so much better now! We use it daily on his knees, elbows and neck but a little does go a long way! We have it in subscription and I don't think we'll ever cancel it!
